Moser Library, Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury

Client: Shrewsbury School
Project: Library refurbishment

Our client required an extensive refurbishment of its 100 year-old school library.

This was an unusual project. It included both general building work and bespoke joinery, crafted by our in-house team based at Bicton, Shropshire.

Before we started work, subcontractors Britannia Movers PLC moved 30,000 books and archive material.

We inserted a mezzanine floor and replacement high level windows. Our joinery team crafted fitted new bookcases, desks, doors and windows.

We fitted a new central heating system , as well as high tech LED lighting, which was integrated into the furniture.
