We were awarded a £3.9m contract to design and build a two-storey standalone extension to Langley School.

The build was part of Telford and Wrekin’s commitment to expand the secondary school provision across the borough, with £31 million investment into schools over a two year period.

Building Schools for the Future

The almost £5 million scheme included a new two storey, 300 pupil classroom facility at the Telford Langley’s site in Dawley, along with reconfiguring and refurbishing areas of the ground and first floors of the existing school building.

The works included much needed dialogue and liaison with both Telford & Wrekin and the school stakeholders in agreeing the scope, specification, and timing of various phases of works within the existing school.

The programme was kept on schedule and was handed over in August 2021 in readiness for the new academic school year.
