The Frith was Cornovii Homes first housing project and forms part of their plan to design and develop quality, sustainable and environmentally friendly homes for Shropshire.

We started the project by carefully demolishing an existing care facility before redeveloping this former brownfield site into much needed, quality homes.

Creating a vibrant community

Frith Close consists of 33 new homes, ranging from one-bedroom bungalows to four-bedroom semi-detached homes. They were built to ‘Future Homes Standard’ resulting in at least 20% improved carbon efficiency than that of a conventional new-build.

They were all built with increased insulation and specialist PV panels to help reduce energy bills for residents, alongside superfast broadband, electric vehicle charging points and smart technology to control heating and ventilation systems.

The development delivered a mix of house types including affordable rent, shared ownership and market sale homes.
