Wrekin Housing Group, Leonard Close, Donnington, Telford

Leonard Close was our first contract with Wrekin Housing Group and forms part of their plan to develop homes for affordable rent and low cost home ownership across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Telford & Wrekin.

The regeneration project included the demolition of nine blocks of flats and the creation of two almost identical cul-de-sac’s in a busy residential area.

Constant liaison with local residents and the neighbouring primary school was essential, with site security, health and safety constantly being reviewed and deliveries coordinated so as to avoid busy times.

Early handover

The 43, two-and three-bedroom affordable homes were handed over three months ahead of schedule and fitted the client’s forward-thinking vision for high quality and energy efficient properties that trial new ways to build.

Leonard Close is fully occupied with happy tenants.
