Project Specifications

  • Client: Hope House
  • Contract Value: £120,000
  • Architect: Chris Carr Architects
  • Sector: Healthcare
  • Completion Date: 2014

Hope House Children’s Hospice opened in 1995 and provides care and support to life-limited babies, children, young adults and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

In 2013 we won the contract to extend the Children’s Hospice, creating a single storey building housing a family suite where friends and family could stay to be close to their child.

Investment for improvement project

The Department of Health awarded Hope House a grant of just under £176,000 to fund the work.

We constructed an extension with load bearing cavity external walls, internal block walls and a tiled trussed, rafter hipped roof. The works were carried out ensuring we matched the original building as much as possible.

Testimonials

"We were proud to work on such an important contract providing vital services at the Hospice."
