Warehouse Extension, Telford

Building on our ongoing relationship with plastics manufacturer Craemer UK, we have been appointed to construct a major 100,000 sq ft warehouse extension at their Hortonwood West site in Telford.

The high-specification extension has been commissioned to accommodate state-of-the-art manufacturing operations, specifically providing the substantial floor space required to house new injection moulding machinery, set to be the largest of its kind in the world dedicated to the production of wheelie bins. The development features a durable steel frame structure with clad external elevations, an efficient flat roof design, and expansive roof lights engineered to maximise natural daylight across the operational floor.

In addition to the main building, the project programme incorporates significant external infrastructure and logistical upgrades. Works include the construction of a dedicated new haul road linking directly onto the Hortonwood West, establishing a streamlined one-way transport route around the site to ensure seamless vehicle access to both existing and new silos.

The project marks another key milestone in our ongoing relationship supporting Craemer’s long-term investment in Telford, reinforcing the area’s reputation as a prime hub for advanced manufacturing and regional employment.
