We have committed to the Considerate Constructors Scheme for our bungalow development in Wem, which we are building for Housing Plus Group.
The allegiance to the scheme underpins our ethos of high standards for community working, environmental care and safety of our workforce throughout the construction of three two-bedroom and one three-bedroom accessible homes.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is an independently managed, not-for-profit organisation that works with the construction industry and the public to elevate standards and build trust. By registering with the scheme, Morris Property agrees to adhere to the Code of Considerate Practice, a comprehensive set of guidelines that promote responsible and respectful operations on site.
“We are very pleased to be following the Code of Considerate Practice with this development,” says Conor Roberts, Site Manager at Morris Property. “It’s a great framework that helps raise standards within our industry and build positive relationships within the communities where we work.”
The Code of Considerate Practice focuses on three sectors: respect for the community, care for the environment and value the workforce. Morris Property’s adherence to these principles ensures the Wem bungalow development minimises disruption to local community, operates with environmental responsibility, and provides a safe and supportive environment for its construction team.
An official inspection of the site by the Considerate Constructors Scheme will take place in mid-June to assess the project’s adherence to the Code. The bungalow development is due to complete in October 2025.
