Bungalow Development, Oakengates Road, Donnington

Following a series of successful collaborative projects with Housing Plus Group, we are pleased to be progressing with the construction of nine timber-frame bungalows in Donnington, Telford. This development continues our commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable homes across Shropshire.

The project began with the demolition of six original 1960s bungalows, which were built during the rapid expansion of Telford New Town. With the site cleared and foundations laid, construction has advanced rapidly. These modern homes are designed to the highest current standards of accessibility, thermal comfort, and energy efficiency, ensuring they provide safe, comfortable, and sustainable living for future residents.

We are now entering the final stages of the build. Inside, all nine plots have been plastered and mist-coated; second-fix carpentry and plumbing are well underway across plots 4-9, and second-fix electrics are complete on plots 5-9. Externally, our focus is shifting to landscaping, hardstanding, and creating a new entrance off the main road to improve local access.

Designed to complement the character of the surrounding neighbourhood, the development is moving steadily closer to completion, with handover anticipated this August.
