Arrow Point Retail Park, Shrewsbury

Project Specifications

A prime example of urban regeneration, Morris Property’s construction team built Arrow Point Retail Park in 2007, transforming this obsolete industrial estate into a vibrant and accessible retail destination to the north east of Shrewsbury town centre.

Designed to meet the growing demand for retail and trade counter accommodation, the development was arranged across nine modern units positioned in two terraces, supported by 176 customer car parking spaces to the front for easy access and large delivery yard to the rear.

The scheme provided approximately 93,000 ft2 of quality, flexible retail and trade counter space across 5.65 acres.

During the pre-construction phase, 35,000 ft2 was pre-let to major regional retailer Charlie’s Stores Ltd, forming a strong commercial anchor for the scheme. The remaining 10,000 ft2 – 20,000 ft2 units were successfully leased to a mix of trusted local and regional occupiers, including Poundstretcher, Shropshire Carpets and Outlet X ensuring a diverse and resilient tenant line-up.

Arrow Point Retail Park established itself as a prominent shopping destination within the region, benefiting from excellent visibility, strong transport connectivity, and sustained footfall.

The strategic management and robust tenant performance contributed to its continued appeal, culminating in its acquisition by AEW UK REIT in 2021, marking a successful exit for Morris’s.
