Housing Plus Group awarded our team the contract to build 27 energy efficient, affordable homes on Whitchurch Road, Prees.

Completed in summer 2025, the development offers a well-designed mix of one, two and three-bedroom houses and bungalows, tailored to meet the specific housing needs of local people.

The new energy-efficient homes feature PV solar panels and air source heat pumps to ensure low running costs for tenants. Each home has a turfed garden and private parking along with private EV charging stations. Many benefit from countryside views.

The site was carefully managed to minimise disruption to nearby residents. Local supply chains and trades were used wherever possible, reinforcing the project’s local-first ethos.

Since completion, the new homes have offered affordable accommodation for local families, unlocking other properties in the village as residents relocate to the new development.
