|Client||The Roman Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury|
|Project||Repairs and Alterations|
This project required Morris Property, along with Morris Joinery, to carry out the demolition, rebuilding and refurbishment works over 11 months, whilst respecting the heritage of the building. Repairs and alterations to No 11 and 12 Belmont were required because originally the houses were two seperate buildings and the client needed them to function as one.
The Grade II listed houses were transformed to provide living quarters, offices and meeting rooms for the Catholic Diocese which included converting the loft into accomodation. This required a lot of structural work and renewal of the roof coverings and lead work.
The works also included the construction of a new visitors cafe and shop, and improvements to the landscaping and car parking facilities.
