What made you choose to do an apprenticeship with Morris Property?

As a company, Morris Property made me feel very comfortable and were great at taking the time to help teach me during my work experience. They involved me in activities to expand my knowledge and experience. The friendliness allowed me to ask questions freely and interact in real life scenarios.

What was your first day like?

As an inexperienced individual I was warmly welcomed onto the construction site. It was a great experience, where I learnt a lot by being hands on and practical. I was easily adapted to the construction site by Morris and loved every minute of the experience.

What do you most enjoy about your apprenticeship?

The fact you never stop learning and each day is unique in the best possible way. I love being challenged and hands-on, which allows me to enjoy every day of my apprenticeship.

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?

I would like to see myself managing my own projects as a fully qualified professional site manager.

What would you say to other people considering an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is the perfect way to learn and gain valuable skills on the job. My advice for anyone considering an apprenticeship would be to be keen and willing and to put the effort in to learn in a fast-paced practical environment.
