Centurion Park South, Shrewsbury

Project Specifications

  • Client: Morris and Company
  • Contract Value: £4.25m
  • Sector: Commercial & Industrial
  • Completion Date: 2019

We re-developed a part of this pre-war industrial estate on Kendal Road to create six blocks of small incubator/ start-up units.

The scheme involved the demolition of three large units to create the new development site. We were able to recycle much of the existing masonry and concrete and make use of the waste in the new scheme.

The site clearance made way for 24 new units, known as Centurion Park South.

Space to grow

Each of the 24 individual units benefitted from office, WC and welfare provision. Level access vehicle doors served each unit. They ranged from 1,237 ft² to 2,507 ft² and were finished to a high standard, offering value for money to tenants on new lease terms.

The units’ colourful shutter doors in bright green, yellow, blue and orange proved popular with prospective tenants and the units were quickly reserved or placed under offer.

Occupiers at the site now include Boels Rental Ltd, Different Dog, Everglade, Euro Hydraulic Services Ltd, Salop 4×4, Timecast, Stonetail Ltd, All Autos and Gibson Ceramics.
