Moser Library, Shrewsbury
|Project||Refurbishment of library|
The client required us to provide an extensive refurbishment of its 100 year-old school library which included general works and bespoke joinery crafted by our joinery workshop.
We inserted a mezzanine floor and replacement high level windows along with a new lighting scheme and replacement of existing radiators throughout. The works also required the movement and replacement of 30,000 existing books and archive material which was carried out by subcontractors Brittannia Movers PLC.
A brand new central heating system was also fitted, as well as high tech LED lighting integrated into the furniture to modernise the amenities.
All bespoke joinery was carried out at our Bicton workshop by Morris Joinery. This included crafting and fitting new bookcases, desks, doors and windows
